CHANGE LANE

Board rules

Use the shortest route. Parking is the last option.
Keep left unless overtaking. No overtaking at junctions or roundabouts.
Roundabout: give way to traffic from the right and never change lanes on it.
Never stop at a roundabout, a junction or the centre of the road. Yellow kerbs mark the corners.
Angle parking: small cars only, farthest bay first, forward in, reverse out, no double parking.
On controlled and flush parking, always take the furthest free slot from your entry. On controlled parking you may only park on the left side if you enter from the south, and on the right side if you enter from the north.
Flush parking is on the left kerb. When pulling out, traffic on the main road has right of way.
Main Road centre line: solid yellow means do not cross it, dashed yellow means you may cross it to turn or overtake.
Link Road: the eastbound lane has a continuous stop line before Main Road. The westbound lane has a dotted give-way line before North Road.
Link Road: a continuous yellow centre line turns dotted only at the Parking Court entry.
Roundabout lanes: lane 1 uses space 1 and exits to lane 1; lane 2 uses space 2 and exits to lane 2; lane 3 uses space 3; lane 4 uses the innermost lane and exits by angle (90°, 180°, 270°, 360°).
On the roundabout: no stopping, waiting, parking, overtaking or lane changing.
Yellow kerb: no stopping, waiting or parking.
Give way at the curved white line before the roundabout. The East and West roads have double yellow centre lines, and the East Road has a stop line before Main Road.
Lane lines are continuous on the stretch just before and just after the roundabout: no overtaking or changing lanes there. Where the lines are broken you may change lane, including after the roundabout to reach your destination lane.
U-turns only at the marked openings in the pavement, from the innermost lane. The first opening after the roundabout is for traffic on the southbound road next to the Parking Court, not for traffic leaving the roundabout.
STOP sign when entering a two-way road. Give way at roundabouts and U-turns.
North Road exit: use a marked median opening to U-turn and join the two-way traffic safely.
Major roads have 4 lanes and minor roads have 3.
